In November, Matt and I started the first of two fundraisers for our adoption. Our first fundraiser was a Movie Night at our house and we showed the movie "Martian Child,"which is about adoption, and served root beer floats. It was very successful. Eighteen people showed up. It was standing room only before the end of the night. 
Matt and I also took advantage of the holiday season and decided to make Cranberry Nut bread to sell for the Christmas season. We spent the Thanksgiving weekend at my mother's house making loaves to sell to her co-workers. Lucky for us, the Cranberry Bread recipe has never failed and we sold all of the loaves we made.
